For a military client our staff contributed to the design, fabrication, testing and deployment of portable air-monitoring equipment to be used for the detection of lethal chemical agents. The high-priority multi-disciplinary project required quick-response and strict secrecy. Hardware was deployed nine months after contract award. Our staff’s contributions was recognized with a presidential award, and the contractor was honored with the AMCCOM award for contractor excellence. Subsequently, we travelled overseas to redesign and refurbish the equipment in support of a desert mission.
